The 5’9 190 Senior RB is tough and physical and is great between the tackles. He doesn’t mind lowering the shoulder and running through, rather than around, defenders.
Back to back 1000-yd seasons for Gooding. He led the Bulldogs this season with 1390-yds with 15 TDs, averaging 6.7 yards per carry. He stepped it up in the post season rushing for a season high 192 yards in the Bulldogs 2nd Round win over Centennial. Navy, Air Force and Kent St extended offers last Spring and Gooding has recent interest from Prairie View, Faulkner, and Arkansas Tech among others.
Has the physicality to play on Saturdays.

A consistent metro-Atlanta back flying under the radar, Gooding may not have ideal size or speed, but he’s a consistent runner who plays hard and makes plays in the run game. He was one of the top backs in the region last year as he ran for 876 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for at least 100 yards in five of his eight games, averaging just under 110 yards per game. Look for him to have a massive senior season in 2025. He’s now ranked as the No. 55 running back prospect in the state according to the latest rankings update.

An underrated back with outstanding speed and versatility, Gooding is a weapon out of the backfield who can out-run defenders and make plays as a pass-catcher. One of the top returning backs that side of Atlanta, Gooding ran for 876 yards and three touchdowns last season as a junior in just eight games. He hit the 100-yard mark in five of those games and should get more opportunities to make big plays next season as a senior.
