About Jamison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very evenly balanced on run and pass. I fall heavily under the dual threat category. Rarely do I turn the ball over and this year I had 0INT’s and 0 fumbles. I am not scared to make a play and like to get some contact when I can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I am very even kill and poised. The moment never is too big and I always just enjoy getting another opportunity to play. From a mental standpoint, I am good academically and have a good football IQ.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received multiple awards for academics. This past year I was the #1 math student, #1 science student, and #1 overall student in my class at my school.

What type of college are you looking for?

When looking for a college, a few things are important to me. I want there to be great academics, a nice campus/area, and would like for the sports to be competitive at a high level.

Barnes has one of the liveliest arms in the 2028 class, capable of throwing with velocity to every level of the field. His confidence shows when he pushes the ball into tight coverage windows, and he often makes throws others wouldn’t attempt. That fearless mentality, paired with his arm strength, makes him a big-play quarterback in any offense. Barnes has also flashed mobility, which allows him to launch throws on the run without losing velocity. He’s a prospect whose raw talent could blossom into elite production.
