Canale has picked up some Ivy League and military academy offers this offseason, putting him firmly on the map. There’s a lot to like about the athlete and frame here. He is a long, lean 6’2 180 with a basketball background. He is a big body on the outside at receiver with the footwork and flexibility to sink his hips, break down DBs, and work back to the QB. He has all the upside that comes from a youngster with his frame, but he also has the flashes of finesse thrown in.

“Canale is a shifty route runner who can attack and produce at multiple levels of the field. He’s quick off the line of scrimmage, can cut and change his direction effortlessly, and constantly gains great separation from whoever’s lining up against him.

When you combine that with his hands, it makes Canale really tough to stop. He does a great job using his size, hands, and catch radius to pluck away passes through heavy coverage/contact. I really was impressed with what I saw from him, he’s a really talented WR with another big year ahead of him.”
