About Jamere
Expert Analysis
Michael Keighron | Prep Redzone Scout
While his running mates are more elusive and quick on their feet, Hill is a hard nosed player in between the tackles that is tough to bring down. He only registered 5 carries but turned that in to 29 yards and 2 scores. It was on defense that he made the most noise where he was in the Flames backfield all game with several tackles for loss, a QB sack and recovered a fumble in the 4th quarter that sealed the game.

Going into last season, I thought Hill could be a breakout player as a between the tackles RB. But it was on defense where Jamere earned 2nd Team All WNY honors as an EDGE rusher – racking up 116 tackles, 10 sacks and 3 forced fumbles. He has excellent awareness and plays with sound fundamentals.

Hill was not on many people’s radar heading into last season but he quickly showed he can play football. Jamere is a pass rushing OLB that racked up over 100 tackles and 10 sacks in his junior season. He read-and-reacts very well and is quick off the ball.

Pass-rushing OLB who was a versatile piece for McKinley High School. The ability to come off the edge and read out screen passes was shown at a high level. Given that, Hill was able to use his hands with quickness and physicality on OTs. Certainly, has the athleticism to chase down RBs behind the LOS to make TFLs. Despite being an OLB, Hill can be a DE with his hand in the dirt, playing some reps in the 3 technique.

, or “Ironhead” as he is referred, had a solid game defensively with 12 tackles, 2 sacks and a fumble recovery. Hill is quick off the ball and very fast but also has a bullrush in his arsenal. Jamere came in at RB at the end of the game and scored the Macks’ final TD.
