As a freshman last season, playing on a loaded Collins Hill defense, Davis made an impact with his 27 tackles and one INT. He plays fast, plays physical, and is bound for a terrific sophomore season this fall. He’s a really impressive Gwinnett County defensive back on the rise who will likely continue to dominate and earn more offers on the camp circuit this summer.

Jamel Davis is another fast riser who has already been a top safety in his class. He is a hard hitter with a lot to prove, but he is now seeing the reward for all the grinding he has done. Davis picked up many offers, including offers from the Florida State Seminoles, Tulane Green Waves, FIU Panthers, and more. Getting an offer from the Seminoles is a big deal, and this is something to pay attention to. If he is receiving an offer from a school like that, you have to imagine that more are set to come behind it. He will have a huge offseason, but the sky is the limit following his first year of high school ball.
