Pisciotta has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction with good jumping. Rare ability to accelerate and decelerate, back to acceleration. Very good release. Uses his quick feet to beat the defensive back at the line of scrimmage. Very good separation quickness due to out running the receiver at the top of the route and finding voids in the zone. Very good catching and ball tracking skills. Good body control and adjustment. He’ll gain extra yards after contact due to juking out the defender, running through them, or using a stiff arm. Great receiver who deserves more looks by colleges.

Pisciotta showed out in the win over Discovery Canyon. The 3 receptions for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 66 total return yardage. The 6’3 185-pound receiver has very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. Very good release against both off coverage and press jam. He’s smooth going into his route with his very good separation quickness. Uses good mental processing to sit in an open void and exploit it. Pisciotta has very good ball tracking and catching skills. He is a great jump ball specialist and will come down with the contested catch. All season he has been a consistent bucket for his QB, and this playoff game was no different. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go over 100 plus yards next game.

I’ve spoken about Pisciotta before, and I’m pounding the table again for him. Measures in at 6’3 185 pounds and plays WR/FS. Last season he had 56 receptions for 985 yards and 10 touchdowns, 19 total tackles (8 solo, 3 assisted), 4 INT, 2 PD, and 2 FR. Very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, acceleration, and jumping. Uncanny ability to accelerate and decelerate. Very good release at the line of scrimmage. Very good separation quickness due to his play strength, mental processing, or athletic ability. He’ll use his physicality to win through the route, sit in a void patiently, or outrun the DB entirely. Very good ball tracking skills and catching. Very good at contested catches. Pisciotta is a fantastic blocker as well. Brings the physicality and aggressiveness needed to win. Keep following this young man!

On the defensive side, he had 19 total tackles (8 solo, 3 assisted) 4 INT, 2 PD, and 2 FR. If he was on a 4A or 5A team, he’d be the number 1 WR on that team. This kid can ball. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and good jumping. His ability to accelerate, decelerate, back to acceleration is phenomenal. Pisciotta has very good release against both off coverage and press jam. Consistently beating the DB at the LOS. First play on his highlight reel, is him having a 1-handed grab in traffic and bringing it to the house. Very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability and play strength. He fights through contact during the route and succeeds. Very good ball tracking skills. Very good catching. He’ll jump up and come down with the contested catch. Holds onto the ball after taking a big hit. He bounced off and kept going. Home run speed. His blocking is stellar. He looks very engaged and brings a tenacity to him. I’m very impressed with his film and play in all aspects. Mark my words, Pisciotta will be playing on Saturdays.

Uncanny ability to accelerate, decelerate, back to accelerate. He used this skill to make the DB miss, allowing him the touchdown. Pisciotta has good release against both press jam and off coverage. He uses his very quick feet to get the jump on the DB. He has good separation quickness due to mental processing and play strength. Pisciotta identifies a zone and exploits it. He’ll fight through contact during the route, and uses his strength to be victorious. Very good ball tracking. Very good catching. Goes out and attacks the ball. Pisciotta uses his lengthy arms to extend, then uses his suction hands to catch in front of him. He even had a crazy one-handed interception highlighting these abilities. Even though his team lost, Pisciotta ended his season on a high note.

Standing at 6’2”, Pisciotta used his wide catch radius to haul in difficult throws, while his speed stretched the defense vertically. His ability to find open space and turn short catches into significant yardage kept the defense on its heels. Pisciotta’s combination of size and speed made him a mismatch against defenders, and he was able to exploit it to the fullest. His touchdown highlighted his knack for getting behind the secondary, he will continue to be a player to know.

Jake had 549 yards on 39 catches, with 8 of those being TDs for an impressive stat line in his Sophomore campaign. He led the Colts in receiving yards by a good margin followed by a Junior and a departing Senior, opening up even more opportunities for him next year. Jake is 6’2″ and 175 lbs. providing a good body size to build on over the next 2 years as an intriguing prospect for colleges to watch. He also uses his long frame and athleticism to play on the defensive side of the field as a DB, piling up 46 tackles, 2 INTs and 2 pass break ups on the season. Pisciotta is a receiver that is able to use his height to create a disadvantage against most corners. He has soft hands and the ability to out jump defenders to high point the ball. With his soft hands he is a threat to score whenever his team gets into the redzone. Will look for him to be a possession receiver that can move the sticks.
