Jake had a very good Junior season in 2024. His great play has helped the St. Xavier Bombers to a 10-win season where they averaged 27.1 points per game. He shows solid vision as he finds the open hole and exhibits very good elusiveness and short area quickness as he eludes LB and DB before using his solid play speed to score easily. He is a good receiver in the passing game as he displays good hands and exhibits solid play speed as he picks up a first down. He exhibits great mental toughness as he elevates his play in the redzone.

Jake is a player that has been moving on to our new 2026 rankings as of late. Last season he proved that he can more than hold his own as only a sophomore against some of the best competition in the state of Ohio. His vision and burst stand out right away. He can effectively run the ball both inside and outside with good elusiveness and break tackle ability after breaking through the LOS. He is also good in the screen game and shows good hands and route running as a receiver out of the backfield. I can’t wait to see what more he can accomplish in his development over the next two seasons for St. Xavier.
