Newdigate was a player I was very excited to see. The former quarterback now turned tight end did not disappoint. He was used as an H-Back and was moved across the formation. He was an effective blocker in the run game. In the pass game he showed off really fluid route running skills. He has loose hips he uses to effortlessly get in and out of breaks. He’s a player who can be a versatile mismatch player at the next level. He has good frame and carries his weight well with room to add more. I definitely think Aiden is a D1 FBS caliber player.

Newdigate is a transfer from Springboro, currently led by fellow 2027 prospect Maxim Miller. With an opening left by Michigan commit Chase Herbstreit Chase Herbstreit 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Saint X | 2025 State OH , Newdigate will have an opportunity to fill the void. I see many similarities in play style between Herbstreit and Newdigate. Newdigate plays as a powerful runner and brings the shoulder down to gain tough yards. He has a snappy release and can hit targets at any level of the field. He does a solid job at creating space for himself in pressure situations and can keep his head up to scan the field. Being the quarterback of Saint Xavier brings a lot of responsibility, and I am excited to see if Newdigate can take the opening this season.
