- Well-built 6’2 270. Possesses the size and athleticism to play up and down the defensive front, which he seemingly does.
- Does an excellent job of utilizing his hands to fight off blocks. Will press up on blockers to knock them onto their heels, and sometimes off their feet. Will also work his arms under and over the blockers’ to release.
- Explosiveness off the line sets up his entire game. Is frequently the first hat to piece the front and makes contact with blockers before they are set.
- Can work both the inside and outside shoulder. Works inside shoulder off the snap by dipping and forcing his way into gaps. Can breakdown blockers with footwork to create deception and get the edge.
- When initially locked up and/or faced with double teams, he works hard to free himself. Can spin out of tight areas or just win out in those situations with his strength.
- Good play strength against the run, can set the edge and can halt pulling blockers. Also has the speed to flag down RB from the backside.
- ST upside on FG team. Has an impressive blocked FG on tape.
