Here are five prospects who broke out in 2023 and are worthy of a look. All of these guys are FBS-caliber players.

- Quick first-step allows him to quickly spill out and counter inside moves from defenders.
- Wide base, length, and quickness allows him to get into pass set quickly.
- Does a good job of finishing blocks either by driving defender through the ground or washing defender out of play.
- Good discipline while climbing to LBs and DBs. Keeps eyes up and doesn’t appear lost.
- Impact style blocker against smaller defenders.

- Compact, explosive build. Makes up for lack of length with ++ athleticism.
- Lines up all over the defensive front, will even stand up as a rusher off the edge.
- Capable of converting speed to power and winning in numerous ways.
- Does a great job of creating deception against OL and causing the OL to reach and play in front of their feet. Takes advantage of leverage with arm-over moves, hand fighting, and general quickness to split blockers off inside shoulder.
- When bull-rushing, does a great job of getting right up on the chest of blockers and creating tons of power when extending, often launching blockers to the turf.
- Fights hard through double teams and traffic.
- Closes to the football in a hurry for a big man.

- Creates good deception against press coverage, selling inside move nicely.
- Decent route runner. Has solid start and stop in feet and can jump across face of DB.
- Super physical after the catch. Good contact balance in open field.
- Pinpoints running lanes downfield nicely and has speed to out-leverage defenders to outside.
- Large catch radius with spectacular catch ability. Will fight through contact while protecting catch point.

- Pieces way through line of scrimmage by combo’ing the patience to squeeze blocks and the twitchiness to create his own yards.
- Hits openings with no hesitation and quickly opens up.
- Accelerates to top speed quickly and is capable of maintaining it downfield, running away from the defense.
- Outstanding contact balance for size. Good center of gravity and stays squared at contact. Can create extension with stiff-arm and recovers nicely after tackle attempts.
- Offers playmaking ability as a returner and as a receiver.
- Will fit best as a change of pace back with a scheme that gets him ball in space.

- Well-built prospect with plenty room to grow.
- Athletic enough to extend plays and move the chains. Does a good job of sliding to end runs.
- Shows excellent fluidity in his hip when running PA game.
- Showcases good mechanics in pocket. Sets feet and fires ball quickly.
- Capable of making off-platform throws.
- Attacks tight windows over middle of the field nicely. His eyes, arm, hips, and feet are all synched up. Throws with excellent rhythm and timing.
- High release point allows him to float ball above defenders on deep ball, allowing his receiver a chance to highpoint it.
