Someone’s going to end up taking a chance on Jaelen Richardson Jaelen Richardson 5'7" | 160 lbs | ATH Northampton Area | 2023 State PA , I bet it’s going to work out for whatever program that does. No offers, D2, FCS level interest. There’s only one thing holding this kid back, from a recruiting perspective. It’s not his production. It’s not his position versatility. It’s not his accolades, recently being named 1st-team all-conference WR/DB/KR. Those in and around Northampton know how vital this kid’s game is to the program, he’s trying to prove he holds the same value at the next level. His subtlety when running routes is impressive. There’s an understanding of leverage, he’s quick in short areas. Richardson might not have the stride but he certainly has homerun-hitting speed, not every 5’7 prospect can say that. Body control in and out of his cuts, would be an impressive camper or combine tester. Every year I cut on the Richardson tape and see more of the same two-way dominance that I’ve seen for nearly two years. He’s proven valuable, hoping someone pulls the trigger on this kid.
