is Mr. Mechanics and footwork as a thrower of the football. At the showcase, he showed that he can deliver a good football. There are quarterbacks who have stronger arms but he makes up for it with his timing and delivery of the football. His ability to see the whole field and throw a good football is impressive. I also thought he got better as the showcase continued. Taff to me has good tools and should only improve going forward. I am excited to see him play next season.

is a great leader out of Northampton High. This is another prospect that stepped into the bright spot as a Sophomore. Gavin throws a very accurate ball. He also improvises to his legs where he shows no fear running the ball. Taff is a prospect that will fight for every last yard. One thing I’d like to see more from Taff is zip on his deep ball. He has good pocket presence, and footwork. This is something you love to see from the young prospect. Throw measurable out the window. This is a great athlete with a 4.0 GPA that deserves a chance to play at the next level!

has some of the most impressive films you will see for a quarterback. He shows excellent footwork and mechanics in the pocket. He delivers an excellent football. Taff is also one of the best QBs I have seen throw on the run. Northampton liked to have designed sprint-out pass plays for Taff where he can throw on the run. He does an excellent job throwing on these plays. Taff also showed a good ability to run the ball on designed run plays. Taff is an excellent quarterback prospect I cannot wait to see his progress,

Not too active on Twitter. 1,300 passing yards with 12 scores to pair. Priority is to get this young man on the move. First rep on tape is a beauty, sprints to his off-hand side, flips his shoulders and hips, gets popped in the mouth while delivering a dot to the sideline 25+ yards downfield. An eye-opening first rep. Undersized, recruiting will be an uphill battle especially considering how loaded the 2026 class is at the position. Several reps out of Twin sets, can incorporate play-action sets out of twins. Calling card is certainly his ability to shift launching points to either side of the field and target his weapons accurate on the move. Can tuck and run for first downs. Can stretch the field when in Trips. Like the way he delegates the football inside of 15 yards, not everything on tape is a big play, which is a good thing. Seam shots show off the arm strength packed in his build. Good player.
