Webster was another standout for Gilman on defense. Outside of one long touchdown run, Gilman didn’t give up many big plays in the running game. Webster did a good job of setting the edge and not letting the running backs get around him. There were a few plays where he broke through double-team attempts and made a couple of tackles in the backfield. I thought he did a great job of quickly disengaging from anyone who tried to block him (in other words, he shredded blocks).
