Jacob has been on our radar for quite a while now. Since I first watched Jacob’s tape, he’s been a very raw offensive line prospect with sensational size. I see this from most super-tall linemen, but Jacob has consistently struggled with agility, balance, and overall fundamentals. There’s a lot of plays where it seems Jacob knows that to do, but can’t move quick enough, balanced enough, or doesn’t have the necessary aggression to finish his block. According to his Twitter, Jacob has gained a whopping 45 pounds since I last updated his H/W. That is a VERY good sign for the coming season. If Jacob is able to have himself a breakout year, he could even earn Division 1 offers.
