Standing at 6’2 265, Jacob Thronton is one of the standout OL from the stout Elkhorn South line. Theres no surprise the Storm ran for 2,486 yards last season behind Thornton and this OL. Thornton is super flexible in his stance, allowing him to drive off the ball and attack defenders from the ground up. On combo blocks Thornton is clinical, lifting half the man and breaking off to scraping LBs after the defensive lineman has been displaced and fully taken over by his partner blocker. When pulling, Thornton is a wrecking ball on kick-out blocks, consistently pancaking defenders and entirely eliminating them out of the play.
