out of Elkhorn South combines athleticism and a high IQ to lead them to a 8 and 3 season as a JR. While his QB skills can be highlighted by my fellow NE PRZ scout HERE – I wanted to highlight why Buller might have an opportunity as a DB or CB at the next level. With 239 rushing yards on 43 carries as a QB, Buller shows so much toughness every time he takes off with the ball. Often taking multiple defenders to bring him down – he drags defenders with him and is constantly fighting for every extra yard like it’s 4th down. In the open field Buller showcases good speed and some elusiveness to avoid oncoming defenders. Watching his basketball highlights (?s=20" rel="nofollow">HERE) you can see really see his athleticism, body control, and floor general ability/IQ. What translates from the court to the field is his lateral quickness when defending and his ability to recover defensively when he gets out of position by quickly sliding his feet to regain position. His body control is also apparent. All to say, I think Buller is worth a look on the defensive side at CB or Safety as well as a QB.

. With an all-state RB toting the rock, passing samples were small, but Charlie still threw for 482 yards and four touchdowns, and added 239 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Buller stands out on the roster sheet with great size for the next level at 6’3″ and 180 pounds. He is at his best when he’s able to stand in the pocket and examine the field as he goes through his progressions. Charlie has a solid arm and has shown he can deliver it to all levels of the field. Buller also does a good job on the move, showing he can roll out to extend plays, throw on the run, or tuck the ball and take it himself.
