Bethel has some really talented prospects in the 2025 class but our spotlight right here is on a 2024 prospect in Jacob Fortin Jacob Fortin 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Bethel | 2024 OK at the wide receiver and defensive back position. Up first is his offensive film from his junior season and there’s no doubt that he’s also a standout on defense. Fortin loves to block down field for his teammates and really just loves being physical any time he’s on the field. One play in particular that caught our eye was after he made a catch in the open field. Instead of looking for an open lane to run, he put a bullseye on the safety’s chest and lowered the shoulder to run through him. Needless to say, Fortin is a hard-hitter and that came across on the defensive film that we watched. He’s also a good tracker of the football. Whether it’s watching the quarterback and being in the right place or running down a ball carrier, Fortin takes good angles to get from Point A to Point B. His overall physical play reminds us of a linebacker and based on his size, he could very well be that when it comes to being a prospect to play college football.
