is an example of that. He’s a terrific two-way player for the Wildcats and he’s going to join Melson on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker to watch. He joined Melson last season with over 100 tackles and he’s looking for more in 2024. Quinter also ended the season as the team’s leading rusher. And as we’ve mentioned a few times in this preview, the Bethel running game is going to be a strength this season.

Our final linebacker on this breakdown is another guy that has been a standout since his freshman season.

got on the field during his freshman year and immediately became an impact player for the Bethel defense. Quinter ended up becoming the team’s third-leading tackler on a defense that had some studs. You look at the production that Quinter has had and it’s obvious that he’s a tackling machine. He’s been described in the past as that “old school” linebacker and he definitely fits a similar style as other guys on this breakdown like Lujan and DeBusk.

recently that shine on both sides of the ball. Quinter has had a strong start to his sophomore season as a running back and a linebacker. But when it comes to Quinter as a prospect, he feels more natural on the defensive side of the ball at the linebacker position. Quinter is similar to DeBusk and Lujan where he feels like a prototypical middle linebacker down the line considering he’s a tackling machine in the open field. This season, Quinter is lining up mostly at outside linebacker and his patience on that side of the ball is really strong. He feels like a natural fit at linebacker but his talents on the offensive side of the ball shouldn’t be overlooked moving forward.
