A big tight end at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds for DCG, Jackson Reis Jackson Reis 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE/DL Dallas Center-Grimes | 2027 State IA was another weapon in the air this last season for the Mustangs. Taking a look at his junior year film, it’s a bit of a surprise programs have jumped all over the athletic pass-catcher alongside Western Illinois, South Dakota and Drake.
Reis possesses a thick body that can in-line block, go up and get a 50-50 ball with long arms and physicality, and is clearly a smooth athlete, Reis is more than worthy of a line of FCS and, potentially, Group of 5 programs offering him a scholarship.
Grabbing 16 receptions for 217 yards and four touchdowns, Reis could add more interest with a more productive senior campaign.

Reis has performed well with his first varsity opportunity in 2025. Through the team’s first five games, the junior caught five passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns with multiple mouths to feed in the passing game. Reis runs like a receiver, and long arms, speed and athleticism make him a difficult match for linebackers and defensive backs. He’s patient in waiting to release when assignments begin with blocking. Speaking of which, he shows a willingness and ability to block. His frame can add a good amount of weight and strength without the loss of the athleticism that gives him a high ceiling.
