What impressed us about Jackson? Any time a prospect shows up at a prospect camp and wants to play multiple positions, it’s an added plus as an evaluator but watching this young man get his reps at quarterback and kicker, it struck an even stronger chord with me, as it shows off a versatility instinct that typically will go unnoticed, but not from my eyes. Jackson showed off a cannon of a leg and didn’t just carry a long leg; he showed consistent hangtime in all of his reps I got to watch. I was informed that Jackson was invited to the Kohl’s National Camp, which is very impressive to add to his resume as well. He showed a growing touch when throwing the football in 1v1s, especially on short and intermediate routes I got to watch. He has some development into his senior season on his precision passing in a quick setting; however, the upside on this kid’s college football future is indeed rising as a specialist from what my eyes can see, and my ears have heard throughout the summer.
