Expert Analysis
Bryan Ault | Prep Redzone Scout
Hedin received first-team all-state honors this season and it’s easy to see why. The left tackle is well put together and strong as an ox and plays on both sides of the ball. He registered five sacks on defense and is a mauler at left tackle, handling spin moves with ease and creating lanes in the run game.

may be the hardest working player in Northeast Ohio and his film has shown exponential growth on and off the field into a complete player. Hedin plays offensive and defensive line and does so at a high level. He has the size and skill set of an impact player on Saturdays. Not only does he have great reach in his arms, but has a lot of power to pull off moves an average player can’t. On defense, he can overwhelm offensive linemen with his power and has clean footwork to work past pass protection. Is an aggressive left tackle that doesn’t want the play to end until his man is on the turf. A big guy that doesn’t play soft, Hedin looks for contact and cleans up blocks. Hedin is a leader on and off the field who puts in the work when no one is watching which has led to some of the best uncommitted film coming out of the 2025 class. He has maintained interest from several schools including Buffalo, Edinboro, Kalamazoo and other schools. There’s no doubt in my mind he belongs at the next level.

is a multidimensional two-way player with above average abilities at left tackle in both pass protection and run blocking. Physically checks all the boxes of a college starter on size, speed, athleticism and football IQ. Comes in with as much experience as you will find out of a high school left tackle. Shows good aggression when playing to fight for one-on-one wins. Lets his technique do the talking by keeping his body in sync with his head to provide a clean pocket in pass pro. Plays heads up with his size to mirror his man to create even more space for ball carriers. Keeps his power in his upper body which says a lot with his long arms. Relentless along the defensive line with the ability to eat up blocks or get after the ball carrier. Hedin has put in the work when no one is watching or when things get hard to sharpen his game. His first offer just came in and a quality one at that from Denison, but things are just getting started for him ahead of a big senior year.
