Leroy Scales Leroy Scales 6'0" | 270 lbs | DL Hawken | 2028 State OH is a talented run defender for the Hawken School. Scales is a great run-plugging defensive lineman who takes great angles to the ball, wraps up in space and can very disruptive. He is also a solid pass rusher who takes great angles to the QB and wraps up. He can occupy multiple blockers and free up second-level linebackers or his teammates to clean up the play. A name to watch during college camps.

Leroy uses his quickness as a weapon on the interior defensive line. He plays with energy and bursts that help him as a run defender. He covers lateral space very well and can make second effort plays in the run game. He gets inside as a pass rusher and can motor through his blocker. I would like to see him build some size to help him continue developing.
