The Lafayette Generals are quietly 3-0 to begin the 2026 season, and Jackson Grantz Jackson Grantz 6'0" | 185 lbs | K/DB Lafayette | 2027 KY has played a consistent role in their success so far. He plays free safety and kicks/punts, but can provide a spark for his team offensively. He’s already rattled off a 46-yard touchdown reception in which he split a horde of would-be tacklers before bouncing the ball outside before crossing the end zone. Defensively, Grantz plays fast and downhill against the run, but is arguably more impressive in pass coverage. Last season, he showcased his abilities cutting off routes and making clean contact when trying to break up passes. Those skills have translated to this season, and he’s off to a great start.
