Stevens completed 12/17 passes for 182 yards and 3 TDs in Cathedral Catholic’s 49-7 first-round win over Ramona. He continues to be most effective when moving the pocket and rolling outside the box showing his mobility, ability to throw on the run, and natural arm strength throwing off-platform. Stevens picked up a handful of D-I offers during the offseason including UC Davis, Appalachian St., Arkansas St., UNLV, Lehigh, and Georgetown. #6-Cathedral Catholic will face #3-El Camino in the D-I quarterfinals this Friday.

Tough schedule for Cathedral Catholic and despite not having the season they hoped for thus far the transfer from Green Valley HS in Nevada has shown a strong skillset. Really good ability to throw on the run to either direction while being accurate from off balanced platforms and from different arm angles. Throwing on the run he does a good job getting his hips and shoulders turned to the target to maintain accuracy. Excellent pocket movement and instincts to avoid and manipulate pressure to create open throwing lanes downfield. As a ball carrier, he’s a plus athlete with deceptive speed and awareness in space. Has picked up three offers so far including two as a freshman from Florida State and North Texas then added Portland State in May.
