Barton completed 27/37 passes for 330 yards and 6 TDs in Mount Miguel’s 46-20 win over El Capitan. The senior QB has produced a massive breakout season operating one of San Diego’s most explosive offenses under a successful new coaching staff. He’s shown promising arm strength connecting with his speedy playmakers over-the-top of the secondary and great ball placement leading WRs in stride. Barton’s thrown for over 2,000 yards and 29 TDs with only 3 INTs on the season.
Vernon recorded 13 catches for 171 yards and 2 TDs in Mount Miguel’s 46-20 win over El Capitan. He’s a dynamic, explosive athlete with a high-level skillset at WR and playmaking ability in space. He’s extremely elusive and fluid with the ball in his hands which, might be the biggest asset to his playmaking upside. Vernon picked up his first offer from Colorado St. in early October with more likely to come soon.

Hutchison completed all 6 of his passes for 135 yards and 3 TDs in Mission Bay’s 57-6 win over Coronado. He also ran for another 120 yards and 2 TDs on 10 carries. He’s an athletic 6’6”/195 showing promising upside playing his first year of high school football. He’s a raw passer from the pocket that can escape and extend with his legs and make throws on the run. Hutchison’s thrown for over 1,000 yards and 18 TDs to 4 INTs in Mission Bay’s eight games (7-1).
Benitez posted the most productive outing of his impressive freshman season, throwing for 252 yards and 4 TDs on 20/24 passing in Granite Hills’ 45-7 win over Steele Canyon. He’s shown a live, natural arm with smooth mechanics and throwing motion from the pocket. He has a strong frame for his age at 6’2”/200 that will only continue to grow and develop physically over the next few years. He puts noticeable air under the deep ball and can put the ball in spots over-the-top of the secondary. Benitez has passed for over 1,200 yards and 15 TDs with only 2 INTs in his freshman season.
