Looking back at our notes from this time last year, we didn’t have much to go on with quarterback Ja Posey Ja Posey 6'0" | QB Pocola | 2027 State OK but that quickly changed. As a sophomore, Posey would become the state’s leading passer, throwing for more than 4,100 yards and 39 touchdowns. We’ve mentioned this a few times this offseason but what impressed us the most about Posey’s sophomore season was the fact that his best games came against the toughest competition. It’d be one thing if Posey was completely shut down in those losses but you can make the argument that he was at his best. We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers he puts up this season.
