Ranked as the No. 5 RB prospect in the state, Nalls made a big jump in the latest rankings update due to his impressive frame, potential, talent, and the tape last fall from his sophomore season. The impressive Calhoun running back was the No.2 option for the Yellow Jackets last fall, rushing for 421 yards and five touchdowns on just 68 carries. He showed a shifty running style, impressive vision, and enough size to pick up big yards after first contact. His potential is easy to see and he’s likely bound for a strong, productive junior season this fall.

Isaiah Nalls is one of the most outstanding backs returning this season. He is such a talented back and someone who has had a big off-season. Nalls has a proven couple of years under his belt and already being a state title early on in his high school career. I feel as if this year will be his biggest season yet. He is an excellent all-around running back and he has the God-given ability to make things happen. Watch out for Nalls and Calhoun this season!

It’s been a strong off-season for Isiah Nalls. Nalls has shown his hard work and dedication this off-season and he’s looking to continue great success on top of everything he’s accomplished so far in his early career of high school football. Nalls is an outstanding player, leader and example for his team and program. I really believe this fall will be Nalls biggest season yet. He’s a spectacular talent that continues to grow and showcase the great God-given abilities he has.

Nalls has emerged as not only a premier RB in NWGA, but a premier RB in the entire state out of the 2028 class. He is a featherweight, but leggy RB prospect with room to get bigger. This dude can roll, and there is little that can stop him, or rather, catch him, when he gets going. He has the foot speed to dance around contact and the long speed to lift off. He accelerates through cuts and, when shedding off tacklers, kicking off a foot race that defenders aren’t ready for.

Isiah Nalls has been one of those young talented running backs that has been ultra productive for his team, and he already has a state title under his belt. One thing about Nalls, he’s a guy who works extremely hard and it shows on the field of play. This season I feel like he will burst on the scene in an even bigger way and he brings such a physical and athletic style to the table and he brings that dynamic running style to his team. He can run off of scrimmage and catch the ball out of the backfield. He is one name that will be heard all over the state in the fall of 2026. Look out for Nalls.

A shifty running back who can also make plays as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, Nalls is a slippery runner who can accelerate quickly and pick up tough yards. One of the best overall backs in North Georgia for the 2028 class, Nalls shows good vision, quick feet, and big-play ability as a sophomore last year when he ran for an impressive 421 yards and five touchdowns in a reserve role. He also helped in the passing game as he hauled in 14 passes for 127 yards on the season. He’s a promising back on the rise who could see more carries come his way as a junior. He’s currently ranked as the No. 5 RB prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class.

is a special player and a very hard worker. I have covered Nalls since his middle school days and I knew then, he was going to be special. Nalls has gotten better and better and hit the scene his freshman season with a state championship win. Nalls has the vision, the burst, the strength and agility to really do it all on the gridiron from the running back position. He is a threat wherever he is on the field. He’s going to have a huge season this year for the Calhoun Yellowjackets and do not be surprised if it’s some sort of record-breaking season for him in some capacity.

One of the later additions, but one of my favorite players at the event as a whole. He is one of the top running backs in the state of Georgia for the 2028 class. He is someone who has made a name for himself as an elusive back with plenty of traits. Schools will have an eye on this kid, as if he develops the way we all anticipate him to, he will wrap up his high school career with pen to paper, signing with a college program. Nalls is set for a huge season with the Calhoun Yellow Jackets, but he will look to make an even bigger name for himself in February.

One of the top young running backs in Georgia, Nalls is a terrific athlete with quick feet, balance, and acceleration. He runs hard and can bounce off defenders with a 5-foot-10 180-pound frame. He can catch out of the backfield and didn’t play like your typical freshman last year. It’s never easy to play early at a program like Calhoun, but Nalls made it happened and really shined out of the backfield. He showed Power Four potential in year one and is now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 4 RB and the No. 35 overall prospect in the state for the 2028 class. Look for him to have a possible breakout sophomore season this fall.

A shifty, versatile back out of North Georgia who opened a lot of eyes last season as a freshman, Nalls saw big offers come his way recently from Duke, Florida State, Minnesota, and Memphis. He’s one of the top 2028 running backs in the state who runs with authority, balance, and has the ability to help catch passes out of the backfield. He shows quick feet, good burst, and is bound for a gigantic sophomore season for the mighty Calhoun Yellow Jackets in 2025.
