The recent Hampton commit has been a player whose tape I have always liked since I first watched it. Isiah is our 10th ranked Wide Receiver in the Class of ’26 who brings size, athleticism, and play making ability to Gainesville offense. He can be utilized in multiple route concepts on all levels of the field. He is a physically tough player who makes an impact on every play whether by running strong routes, catching the ball, or making blocks downfield.

Gainesville wideout Isiah Dougan Isiah Dougan 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Gainesville | 2026 State VA picked up his second FBS level offer over the weekend with Sacramento State coming his way. Dougan has been high on my co-worker Cole’s radar for over a year, who (correctly) predicted he would be a division 1 receiver.

Heading into his final season for the Cardinals, it should be interesting to see how his role picks up on offense. Gainesville graduated a high number of seniors and will need Dougan’s skill set to maintain.

They didn’t need Dougan much last week as Gainesville ran away from Potomac pretty early on, but this game should be different. Again he is 6’3 and 185 lbs. while he is not done growing, he had a nice game blocking last week.

Typically when my co-worker Cole Laing thinks highly of a prospect he is spot on and that certainly was the case with Dougan. Despite only a handful of starts as a junior, Dougan has really stood out and continued his progression with an offer from Marshall University. With the graduation of Aidan McClaferty and Trevor Moody, more footballs should be in Dougan’s direction this fall. Cole broke down his play back in the spring below:

Isiah is a WR you will want to keep an eye on. His height, size, and route running ability stand out on film. He has very good release off the ball against Press, Soft, and Off coverages, utilizing different techniques and very good lateral movement to keep the DBs guessing. He displays a full route tree on short, medium, and deep passing routes with good change of direction at the top of his routes to create separation. He has very good hands with very good adjust to throws and good strength to fight through contact and secure catches in traffic. He is elusive after the catch to create extra yards. Be sure to have Isiah as a player to watch over the next two seasons.
