Thompson is a big and bruising back. He runs with good vision but doesn’t dance. He’s a true north-south runner who’s more than willing to put his shoulder down and run over you. When he gets into the open field, he’s not a plodder though. He has the speed to make chunk plays. He also has a nice jump cut that can make guys miss. Thompson finished with 100 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown.
