since first seeing him at a camp the summer before his junior year and he’s continued to progress into one of the top big men in this class. Osafo-Mensah has carried the momentum he built over the summer into his senior season, including a PRZ WV Combine DL MVP performance in May.
He has the rare combination of power and athleticism for a lineman prospect and is downright dominant at times on the field. There aren’t many offensive linemen in the state who can bloc Osafo-Mensah 1-on-1 and he’s consistently shown that at camps and on film. Every D2 program in the state should be after his post high school services with offers sure to come with a strong start to his senior year for the Patriots.

. We’ve been high on the 6’2 255 senior for a while now and believe he’s one of the most underrated players in the state regardless of position. As a junior, Osafo-Mensah totaled 50 tackles, 16 TFLs, and 5 sacks and should have an even more productive senior year for the Patriots. We got eyes on him in person at the PRZ WV Combine where he was selected as the DL MVP among a talented group of big men in attendance. Osafo-Mensah is athletic for his size and has the combination of quickness and power to be a well-rounded college player in the future.
His recruitment has been quiet thus far according to his social media, but D2 programs should be targeting Osafo-Mensah this season.

earning our defensive line MVP. We’ve been high on him for a while now ever since seeing him in person last summer before his junior season. Osafo-Mensah is an impressive athlete for his size with a very quick first step and high acceleration off the line that gave some talented offensive linemen in 1-on-1s a lot of trouble. He was very consistent throughout the day and performed on the biggest stage during the final rep of the OL vs DL Top Performers 1-on-1s with everyone in attendance circled around them.
Osafo-Mensah has been a consistent Top 10 DL in the 2025 class in our rankings and backed that high praise up even further after Saturday’s event.

. The 6’2 260 big man is currently ranked as the #3 defensive lineman in the 2025 class and his play this season has backed that claim up. Through six games, Osafo-Mensah has 31 tackles, 12 TFLs, and 5 sacks. The best thing about his game this season is it appears he has performed his best against the better teams on Washington’s schedule. I thought he was really impressive in their games against John Marshall and Hedgesville who have some real talent on their offensive lines. Osafo-Mensah has put on more size this season and is playing with a hard edge and physicality that I really enjoyed watching. He comes downhill with a purpose and you’ll feel it when he makes contact with you. The Top defensive lineman right now in the 2025 class are very talented and Osafo-Mensah certainly has proved he’s in that group.
