Beard is another slot receiver prospect who makes up for his lack of size with playmaking ability. He had his breakout game of the season against John Marshall in week four where he hauled in 10 passes for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns. Beard has good speed and quickness that allows him to create separation and can provide a spark after the catch as well. His twitch benefits him as a route runner, and he also does a great job extending his route on scramble drills to get open for his quarterback.

Another Musselman transfer that will be a welcomed addition to the Washington program is 2025 WR Isaah Beard Isaah Beard 5'9" | 145 lbs | WR Washington | 2025 State WV . Beard missed some time last season due to injury but should have a good bounce-back year with his new team. He’s your classic quick and shifty slot receiver who can be dynamic will the ball in his hands. Beard is a well-developed route runner who can hurt defenses at all three levels of the route tree. He already has a nice connection with Michael Thompson Michael Thompson 6'6" | 175 lbs | QB Washington | 2025 State WV from their time at Musselman and could end up being his favorite target this season. Beard is dangerous in space but can also stretch the field vertically from the slot or at wideout.
He could be a stock riser this season with a change of scenery and a prospect that D2 and D3 programs should be following closely.

Musselman receiver Isaah Beard Isaah Beard 5'9" | 145 lbs | WR Washington | 2025 State WV missed some time this season due to an injury and the Appleman offense had a down year in 2023 so Beard’s ranking has the potential to make a big jump after the 2024 season. He’s undersized right now at 5’9 140 but Beard can be a dynamic slot receiver at the next level. He already has pretty good speed but I think increased muscle mass and weight could give him another gear. Beard has shown the versatility to play slot and wideout and has the ability to take handoffs on sweeps and motions into the backfield. He’s primed to potentially have a breakout season and could form a fun duo with quarterback Michael Thompson Michael Thompson 6'6" | 175 lbs | QB Washington | 2025 State WV in 2024.
