Ian Mitchell Ian Mitchell 6'4" | 230 lbs | LB Gardendale | 2025 State AL was explosive off the edge for Gardendale’s defense last fall- what he was able to do for both their rushing and passing defense was simply fantastic. Mitchell is explosive off the line of scrimmage. He frequently flies off the snap and is able to almost instantly impact plays. It doesn’t matter if he’s going up against an offensive lineman in pass pro or against the run, he finds ways to manuever around them to get tackles both at and behind the line of scrimmage. Mitchell was dominant all throughout the season and it showed with his 42 total tackles (4 for loss) 4 sacks, and one fumble recovery on the year. With how well he’s been playing, Mitchell has quickly become a target for a lot of great programs across the nation. Recently, he’s picked up offers from Troy, Austin Peay, North Alabama, and more! Mitchell has been developing really well, watch him this fall to see how he does in his senior campaign!
