quickly became one of my favorite players to cover. The 6’1″ QB showed all the characteristics that you want in the leader of your offense. Hudson is big strong built kid with thick legs and big arm. Your initial impression of him is, he had the size to play college football right now. Watching him warming up, the ball just jumped out of his hand with velocity so effortlessly. His mechanics look polished and he has good touch on his passes. He knew when to put some zip on the ball to fit it in tight windows and when to take some off and drop it in a spot. There were even a few times where dipped into his trickbag and completed some circus throws having fun. Hudson has shown the ability to complete all the throws on the route tree. From a mental standpoint, he’s equally as impressive. He’s a leader and has a personality as live as his arm. Very fun kid to interview. He has a high IQ and is very poised. Never seemed to be rattled or under pressure in any game I saw him. He in turn seems to thrive off of it. He appears to love the bright lights and had fun no matter who the opponent was. He is a coach’s son and calls his own plays. That’s very impressive for a kid with one more year of HS remaining. It’s more impressive that he’s led the Kansas Colts to a 7v7 tournament championship on a competitive regional circuit. I think this kid has a bright future and will have a healthy list of suitors in the Fall as he plays out his senior season at Hesston High.

Ferralez has a unique combination of qualities that make him a versatile and dynamic player on the field. He demonstrates excellent footwork in the pocket, showing great patience and composure under pressure. He has decent arm strength and can deliver accurate passes with relative ease. Additionally, he possesses impressive scrambling ability, willing to put his body on the line to make plays happen with a deadly dead leg cut. However, he has a tendency to stare down his receivers on his throws, making it easier for defenders to anticipate his movements and disrupt his passes. Despite this weakness, his agility and willingness to take risks make him a valuable asset to any team in need of a versatile and dynamic quarterback.
