led Estrella Foothills with poise and efficiency, throwing for 1,939 yards and 18 touchdowns while completing 66% of his passes. Wray displayed his ability to spread the ball around effectively by getting four of his receivers over 240 yards through the air — two of which surpassed 500. Consistently finding his receivers downfield, averaging 15.4 yards per completion, his deep ball had nice touch all season long. His pocket awareness and upper body mechanics allowed him to stay calm under pressure, making smart reads and delivering the ball with accuracy. On the ground, he added 529 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, showcasing his mobility and ability to extend plays when needed. Wray’s combination of strong mechanics, resilience, and the ability to create opportunities for his team made him a key player throughout the season.

showed why he earned second-team all-region honors last year for the 4A Copper Sky division. He’s got good size and moves nicely with impressive footwork. He was consistently accurate, which was no surprise following a year where he finished with a 61% completion percentage. Even though he has a bit of an elongated delivery, it didn’t seem to affect him at all on his way to 18 total touchdowns this past season. He seems locked in and ready for the season, performing really well at the PRZ Arizona Combine.

has a cannon for an arm, and has no problems letting everyone in the stands know it too. Stemming from his immaculate form with his upper half, from his arm motion, to his shoulders, to his torso generating torque, it’s all working together to give him power behind each throw. On the ground, Wray isn’t the shiftiest player but he’s very smart about his choices to run and has the straight line speed to hurt defenses if given too much space. You can tell that he understands the game really well just from watching his tape, whether its his decisions to run or the way he disects a defense through the air. With another year of experience under his belt and an offseason of work, Wray is a player who’s set to light up the scoreboard in 2024.

is a technically sound quarterback who’s upper body mechanics lead to a powerful arm. His poise within the pocket stands out immediately, able to move throughout the pocket without taking his eyes off the play developing downfield. Wray’s footwork provides a solid base, making him more of a threat as a scrambler. Wray’s ability to keep his eyes downfield, even when on the move, is a key aspect of his play. This skill, combined with his speed, allows him to extend plays and create opportunities. His willingness to withstand big hits and quickly recover shows incredible toughness and resilience. Though he has a slightly long delivery, it doesn’t hinder his ability to get the ball down the field. With a full year of experience under his belt, Wray is set up to have a big 2024 season for Estrella Foothills.
