Veenhof is my favorite QB to watch in 11A and maybe all of South Dakota. His play style reminds me of Josh Allen. He does have a little bit of the reckless gunslinging nature that Allen does, but more often than not he is making big plays happen when he gets into the scrambling mode. His legs are more dangerous than you would expect at 6’4″ 200 pounds. As a pocket passer, Veenhof has one of the best arms in the state as well. The ball jumps out of his hand.

Easily the most natural deep ball arms you are going to find in the Dakotas by far in this 2028 class, is our QB1 in the 2028 South Dakota class with Madison’s Henry Veenhof Henry Veenhof 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB/ATH Madison | 2028 State SD . If you want to see how this young man is under duress, just watch what he can do on the second play of his midseason tape, as he literally runs circles all over the field and still is able to utilize his poise and stamina to throw a intermeidate throw that should pass the eye test for any D1 recruiter looking for 2028 quarterbacks in the coming years. He is one that I am surprised has not picked up an offer yet from the Dakotas schools in the Missouri Valley, as if I feel in the end they might have to fight over this young man. He did take a visit to USD back in early October, so I would expect his recruitment to pick up quickly after the season.

There is not much doubt about it, Henry Veenhof Henry Veenhof 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB/ATH Madison | 2028 State SD of Madison will be one of my top 2028 quarterbacks in this class on this upcoming rankings update. The 6’4 190 pounder has the best arm strength you will see in this 2028 Dakotas quarterback class as a gunslinger that can let it fly on all three levels. His ability to get out of jams and extend plays with his legs with his size and athleticism is what makes Henry’s throws even more impressive in my eyes. I’ll say it early so it’s on paper, this young man should surely be an early or even the next D1 offer out of this 2028 South Dakota class.
