Our top ranked interior OL from the immediate Madison area is 2027 Henry Clark Henry Clark 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Edgewood | 2027 State WI of Edgewood. The 6’3″ 260 lbs left guard is very talented when it comes to being mobile. He can effectively and efficiently pull across the formation to kick out edges or lead up through to a level two defender. Henry also is able to double team up to level two and effectively come off the DL to pick up the LB. Henry also has the ability to show off that range while always being loaded up to release his full power into defenders as soon as he makes contact. The 2027’s combo of range and power perfectly fits on the interior of the OL.

Henry was a contributor on both sides of the ball in Week 7, but his home is at OG. The junior is building a powerful frame. One that has shown in past weeks that it can bully DL and drive them off the line in the run game. This past week we got a close look at his ability to provide secure pass protection by setting a strong anchor so his QB could step up when needed. The big man has a solid base of athleticism, allowing him to pull across the formation and get up to LBs in the run game. The junior will be one to watch for teams looking to add to the interior of their OLs in 2027.

The left guard out of Edgewood HS is going to be a problem for DL over the coming years. Henry checks in at 6’3″ and has so much room to fill out his frame that is easily carrying the 240 lbs on his sophomore tape. Henry brings excellent range and mobility to the trenches. He is able to pull out into space and land blocks on DBs/LBs or across the formation and kick out a DL. The sophomore also does really well creating power right away with his initial punch. He is able to transition that speed into power on contact leading to him creating that surge in the trenches or a pancake. I’m excited to watch Henry continue to grow and fine tune his game.
