Mosley is the perfect case of why I love to get players — specifically receivers — in a camp setting. He’s used as a gadget guy in his Willow Spring offense and he’s solid in that role, but that’s not his future. It’s hard to tell from his film that he’s a route-running specialist who can create separation without having to always rely on superior athleticism. That will translate to the college level, where teams can’t get enough of crafty separators.

Mosley is one of the better route runners I’ve ever seen at his age and he’s able to use his suddenness and change-of-direction to make defenders look silly, even before he receives the ball. It’s common to see defenders slipping or falling out of the play when he runs routes on them and that isn’t limited to before the catch. He’s not the biggest guy, but he’s slippery after the catch. His skillset is unique, which is what makes him so fun to watch.
