Wallace could fly up this list, and he might be higher if we knew what the depth chart looked like behind him. Garner loves to rotate backs, but Wallace led the team in rushing by a wide margin in 2025. That’s because he averaged 9.1 yards per carry, an absurd number given the difficulty of competition every week. His vision is probably his best trait, and he continues to develop physically in the weight room.

Amir got the starting nod and was the lead back for a Willow Spring program that took some lumps this past season, however, Amir showed us some good flashes in the opportunities he got with the ball in his hands. Amir rushed for 582 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season while being one of the main threats opponents tried to slow down every Friday Night. I am really impressed with Amir’s speed in the open field – as he continues to grow physically I think he can really be a big-time threat if he breaks a big run. Amir shows a nice jump cut to get to the right hole on zone-based plays, and he can follow his blockers well on power/off-tackle types of plays. I think he’s a little under the radar, and he could be one to watch as he develops in the offseason.

A 4.25 GPA and a reported 4.53 40 yard dash time on his Twitter profile are two things that get you excited about Amir. I like the fact that he certainly shows his electric speed in the open field, running away from defenders on multiple plays for touchdowns. One thing that also shines through is Amir’s passion for the game. That is something you can’t measure in numbers. Something you can measure in numbers however is track times – and Amir.is a dedicated track athlete. I’m excited to see how Amir progresses this season.
