Mayer was arguably the best defensive back/defensive player in attendance at the tri-team exhibition, showing off some excellent quickness and serious instincts on a beautiful undercut of a 2pt-conversion attempt late into competition, maybe the best defensive play of the day. Mayer was naturally and effectively undercutting wideouts all afternoon long, and he also showed off some offensive juice on a great TD catch on a corner route. Talk about a potential stock riser!
