Bellevue West sophomore Grant Jones Grant Jones 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Bellevue West | 2027 State NE is a name to watch this season as he looks to be a bigger part of the offense. The Thunderbirds have been known for their pass-catchers, and it seems like Jones has what it takes to be next in line. I’ve had the opportunity to watch Grant at showcases and have been impressed with his ability to create separation with his route running. He also has somewhat of a bigger frame, with room to continue growing, that he uses very well when he needs to beat pressing corners. Strong hands and great concentration through the catch process. I look forward to seeing what Grant’s game will look like after three more seasons in the high-flying Bellevue West offense.

If pass catchers are involved, you know Bellevue West will be in the mix. Grant is a part of a very talented wide receiver group for the Thunderbirds. He attended the Stock Up Showcase in December, where he impressed with a very polished skillset for his age. Grant is quick with the footwork and displayed some crisp route running during drills. He’s disciplined about following the ball with his eyes while completing the catch and is quick to tuck and burst. Three more years in the Bellevue West offense should have Grant looking like a stud by his senior year!
