Not having played a ton his first two years, Cooper crashed the Cardinal District and earned a first team all district selection. I remember Coach Edmunds being very high on him during our team previews and he was right, Cooper is a beast.

Up to 305 lbs., he would be a great get for Junior Colleges, his football ceiling is just beginning, cannot wait to see where he ends up.

On the defensive line it starts with him up front for the Red Wolves and he will command double teams all season long. Offensively he looked smooth and powerful at guard as lead the way blocking on a number of big plays.

Having Giovanni Cooper back along the defensive line is a big win for the Red Wolves. Not playing the past two years due to injuries Cooper is back healthy and determined for a good senior season.

He can clog running lanes and rush the passer very well at defensive tackle. Getting off the ball with a low base, you can see his strength pop out on tape. A productive motivated Cooper may be just what Gar-Field’s defense to go from good to great.
