Austin has been sharp under center for the Red Wolves through their first two games, throwing for 5 touchdown passes. I have been high on this transfer as he was good for Potomac Senior last year and now he is in position to lead Gar Field on a district title run. He has been excellent to start the year and the Red Wolves should be favored in majority of their remaining schedule. A tall task against Battlefield this Friday awaits, I am confident in this young man’s ability to overcome this challenge.

I had received word before the PWC Showcase that Dylan Austin Dylan Austin 5'11" | 160 lbs | QB/ATH Gar-Field | 2027 State VA would be the new starting quarterback for the Red Wolves after playing for Potomac Senior High School. He looked on point Saturday and seems to be very familiar with Gar Field’s playbook. Several times I watched scan the defense and hit the open target. He seems to have a good sense of confidence and support from his teammates too, I really like this fit for Austin and believe he can take their offense to new heights. Currently he holds 1 offer from Hampton-Sydney but I would think many more Division 2 and 3 schools will be calling before his season is finished.
