Gavin has impressive speed for a defensive lineman. His quickness off of the snap helps him shoot between the two offensive lineman and when he is in the backfield, he is fast enough to chase down runner heading the opposite way. Gavin is a versatile defensive lineman where he can play inside and outside of the guards. Going from 8 tackles last season to 23.5 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and 5 sacks; Gavin has really come alive this year. He is a part of a loaded Appleton North defense and is a huge reason for their 5-2 start.
