Dane is a prospect who plays the safety position the right way in my opinion. If you turn on his game tape, you will see him playing with a very high motor which is needed on defense. He seems to always be in position to find the ball which is a result of him playing fast and free! Look for him to make some big plays in the showcase this weekend!
Dane came to play ball at the PRZ WI Showcase. He was among the top performers in the combine, putting up good numbers across the board. He ran a 4.78 40, 4.56 shuttle, 6.47 L-Drill, and jumped 8’8″. In 2025 Dane was an All Conference safety for Appleton North, so it was great to get a look at him in man to man coverage at the Showcase. Dane didn’t let the new alignment affect his game. He leaned on his quick twitch athleticism to stick to his man and contest plenty of passes throughout the day. He reeled in a really nice INT, making the catch at the high point and away from his body to show off natural hands. The junior is undersized, but he is going to grab attention with those numbers, the production he has while playing at a high level here in WI, and what he will continue to show in future 1 on 1 reps.
