About Matthew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive, coachable tight end with a strong blocking skill set. Plays with leverage, finishes blocks, and sets up the run game very well. Gets open on routes and gets yards after the catch. Always delivers the hit in both offense and defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to be a mentally tough competitor who gives 100 percent effort on every play no matter if I’m getting the ball or blocking. Also I stay disciplined and learn quickly.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Achieved high honers in both 7th and 8th grade. I also was awarded a soaring eagle character award in both 7th and 8th grade.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership for both sports and the real world. I have learned to step up and lead by example and help guide ether my team or group to whatever they needed to accomplish.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for colleges that have strong academics and a strong football program. I would like to stay in the Midwest but i am willing to travel to other states.
