McFarland is a back that has a lot of speed and when he gets to the second level is able to pull away from defenders and take it to the house. He is a big play waiting to happen and is explosive when he has the ball in his hands. He has a knack for making the first defender miss and can lower his shoulder to fight for extra yardage. He is uncommitted and looking for a home that he can make an impact at and would be a great addition to any program still looking for a dynamic back.

McFarland is continuing to put up numbers. He has 3 games of over 100+ yards, and this game was no different. He had 8 carries for 100 yards and 1 touchdown against Pueblo West. Measuring in at 6’0 205 pounds, the senior back was difficult to tackle on the defense. Each time he carried the ball, he was taking big chunks out from underneath the defense. He used his good mental processing and good vision to identify which holes to run through. He hits the hole with a tenacity to him. He’s a bruising running back, with it taking multiple defenders to bring him down. Great performance by the senior who capitalized on each carry.
