About Gabe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am Gabe Abercrombie, a 2026 high school student from McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am 6’1” 202lbs. and currently playing OLB/ILB. McCallie is an extremely competitive boarding and day school both athletically and academically. We have won the state championship in DII-AAA TN football four of the last five years and routinely have teams ranked in the top twenty-five in the country.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I work hard in the classroom, football field, and weight room. I often put in extra practice time, spend many hours working on my academic progress and will do anything I need to accomplish my goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in FCA and Young Life at my school. My belief in Jesus and God is the cornerstone of everything I am and do.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I enjoy being a positive influence on my teammates and friends and always working to make decisions that benefit them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college atmosphere that will allow me to grow my football and academic talent so I can be the best example for Jesus I can be.
