Became a fan of Genkinger before last season, he is one the better linebackers in the region. This kid is a beast and a sideline to sideline backer. He is fast sets the edge and when he blitzes his speed to the ball carrier really stand out. Genkinger will lead the Majors defense again in 2026, he could be one of the top tacklers in Virginia.

A lot to like about Mount Vernon sophomore class and linebacker Frank Genkinger Frank Genkinger Frank Genkinger 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB/LS Mt. Vernon | 2027 State VA looks like a keeper. While playing mainly JV ball as a freshman Genkinger was a beast for the Majors and should fill in nicely at the varsity level. 5’11 and growing Mount Vernon could really use him defensively to slow down some high powered offenses they face right out of the gate.
