Vernon | 2027 State VA may be the most important player they have, the young man had a bunch of receptions, 1 touchdown, 1 interception and a 98 yard kickoff return. You can see the trust him and longtime staring qb Lee have. Watching them connect on a couple of third down conversions you can see the continuity they have. This kid is special and should get a boost in 2027 rankings update.

We’ve mentioned CJ’s game-changing speed before, and he proved it this weekend during our SKLZ Speed Challenge, running the fastest time we saw all weekend, an electric 4.51 40.

With good length, great ball skills and next-level speed, we’re expecting a huge senior year for James on both sides of the ball. He’ll be a name for college coaches to watch this fall and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him playing on Saturdays in a few years.
