Grimstad is one of the top available edge prospects across the state and has been severely under-recruited to this point in his career. He has elite length, wingspan and the frame to continue packing on weight and is one of the more high upside and intriguing prospects we have seen. He is explosive off the ball with violent hands, gets into the chest of blockers quickly while creating immediate knock-back and resets the line. He shows quick block recognition, does a nice job locking out and can set the edge/blow up pullers coming across the LOS when denting. He is a very smooth overall athlete with COD abilities, strong backside pursuit and flashes closing speed when collapsing the pocket while moving very well in the open field. Overall, he is a very balanced defensive line prospect and is going to one of the biggest FBS caliber steals across the state come signing day.
